Hi All,
There are days when want to use the GS to commute to work but I truly can't be arsed to fit the panniers to the bike, or to footle around the house looking for one of my two roll-bags to bungee to the rear - not to mention the small matter of finding/fighting with the cargonet-bungee at that time of the morning.
It strikes me that what I need is a waterproof rucksack, one that is laptop-friendly, can be used for days-out/picnics, and is somewhat smaller than the 75l aluminium-framed behemoth that I still have from my hike-through-the-damp-bits-of-Wales days.
I seem to remember RiDE did an in-depth product review of rucksacks in the past 18 months or so, but various of my issues have been loaned-out to mates, so I don't have the complete set (or an index!) to dig-through.
Before I go nuts, can anyone remember seeing such a bulk-product-test for biker rucksacks? Has anyone got any specific advice?
Thanks + hugs,
