oh bollox

dropped in at the dealers on the way into work this morning and they stuck it on the computer.

25 mins later and after a test ride it was proniunced that the front sensor was faulty and a new one was $360.

gulp - ok - order it in and if it cures it , i'll have it. ( no choice )

got on rode away and the ABS RESET itself - clunk, click, the lights went out

:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap :nenau

guess they reset it somehow but still got an error message :nenau

i may do a pass on the new sensor :thumb

Hmm, I have the same problem so may have to whizz up to the dealer for a diagnostics check.

I currently use Duct tape so I can't see the lights flashing......:augie

Proof that you can fix anything with duct tape :D

$360 Australian  thats nearly twenty quid isnt it ;) glad you sorted it, I still reckon you will regret parting with the GS

i rode it into work and back after leaving the dealers $55 lighter.

its a lovely bike, incredibly smooth, nice and quick, but that bit too wide for squeezing between trucks and 4x4's and fat, inconsiderate aussie falcodore drivers

besides - we need ducted aircon in the house and its going to cost $9k to install it :bounce1:clap

I am sorry but shouldn't 'we need' read 'the other half had decided we need so I have to sell my beloved GS' :augie

Or were you being stood over when sending this?

Just open a window over here instead of ducted aircon!
