Guys, I was born and brought up in South Africa, as were my Ma & Pa and theirs too.... however I have just learned that my great great gandparents were Scottish who emigrated to South Africa in the 1800's. always believed they were English!!!

Originally from Aberdeen - surname Butler!

Does that mean that I can wear a Kilt on my GS and start using words like "nae" and "aye" etc etc....


Not pretty with an Afrikaans accent!

Born in Durban, grew up in Capetown. Most of family dispersed through, Aus, Zims, India, Holland, USA and of course S A

Now live in London.

Lived in Port Elizabeth for 5 years when young, played the girly Soccer game for PE City. Still got lots of mates over in SA, mostly all moved to Cape Town now (the last enclave). Love the place:thumb2
