Balancing the throttles today, must have been a little heavy handed or something. Tightening up the left bowden cable adjuster there was a click and then the locking nut just started to spin. Not had time to strip the throttle body apart where the bowden cable goes into a black box.
Does anybody know if this is going to be a cheap simple fix or is it going to be a new/secondhand throttle body:confused:

Curious as to why you were working with the left side t-body? The right side is the only one necessary to get a perfect balance.

Was trying to get the cable free play right, was a little loose normally only do right, but if it weren't for that I would never have touched it.
going to wollastons on thursday so they can have a look, seems all I might need is a new cable:thumb

and a few hours fannyin about.

If its anything like the 1150, that cable goes into a 'splitter box' under the battery and its a bstard to get to.

Even worse when you eventually after struggling get it back into place only to find the bleedin circlip is on the floor still just where you put it after removing it.

Well that was easy.

The cable adjuster has a hex pattern on the end and it sits inside a clip on the throttle body. All that had happened was the hex had come out the clip, so they just pushed it back inside.:thumb2 Then balanced the bodies and presto
