Ohlins for LC

Probably not. None of the accessories from my twin cam will fit the new LC (apart from the tax disk holder, which I haven't even begun to think about where to mount, as I don't want to give myself a headache) so I'd guess the Ohlins will be the same

But because the engine is shorter, the swing arm is longer.

It will all depend on whether the mounting points are 1 in the same position and 2 are compatible.

Ah - I didn't know that. Just toying for now - new bike - new Ohlins - new Akro - could get expensive. Think I'll go back to the hexhead section

I`m kinda thinking not much will swop over - we already know the panniers don`t!

I guess its back to the drawing board on the bling.............

Touratech already have Zega Pro panniers listed for the new WC at just over 1K for panniers and rails.
However,there is no sign of the Zega Pro spezial which is the one with the exhaust cut out and unfortunately the one I prefer the look of.

Which means that the spring and damping rates on shocks fitted to earlier bikes won't be optimal for the new ones.

Other than speculation, wishful thinking and guesswork, how can anyone on this forum answer that question?
