Ohlins Questions

Im thinking of fitting Ohlins to my 05 1200 gs and i could do with some advice.
would it be best to have them fitted and set up,or fit them myself . which ones should i go for.
Best place to buy.

If you can find some used ones sprung for your weight,then that's what I would fit It's easy enough to do yourself and they will really transform the handling! You may well get some from a wanted add posted on here

I ordered my Ohlins from Kais Suspension in Manchester. They were ordered to my spec and I just fitted them straight on and they have been superb.

Excellent company to deal with so give them a shout.

Another recommendation for Kais; they sorted my onlins for my 1150, and worked with me to adjust the height setting as I've lowered my bike but in a way that can be changed if a I want to go back to full height. Very helpful chaps.

And another + for Kais. I bought a Kawasaki ZX9R which had been fitted with Ohlins rear and sorted front by Kais. Went round bends like it was on rails.

Put Wilbers on mine, set up for my needs on ESA. The best upgrade I've ever spent money on for any bike I've owned in 40 years of riding.
