I want to upgrade to Ohlins front and rear on my 2005 1200 GS. My riding is all on road and I am running Avon Storm Azaro tyre combo. I am trying to establish which current Ohlins shock model numbers best suit the GS . I don't want to lower anything and I want adjustment to be as remote as I can get without getting my tools out . Any advice ?

BM437 on the front, BM 436 on the rear would be the way to go IMPO.

Thanks chaps . The one I like the look of is the 543 which has length adjustability which I hope might give a slightly more front end planted feel . Anyone fitted that particular unit ?

Nope, but I hope you're sitting down when you find out how much it costs!

Have a look at the Wilbers and Hyperpro offerings.

I run Hyperpro on both my GS`s and they are great shocks and a lot cheaper than Ohlins :thumb

Where did you get the Hyperpro's?

The importer is www.performanceparts-ltd.com and they are very helpful.

Give them a call and they`ll sort out exactly what you need and I got a 10% tosser discount:thumb Just mention you are on this site.

You may have a local Hyperpro dealer who you will have to order them through but they will tell you. Mine were supplied by www.calsport.co.uk and they were great to deal with.
