I hadn’t seen this colour in the flesh before ordering, but was very impressed when it arrived.

I remember when I first got my 1190R and you'd bang on, at every opportunity, about how ugly the big KTM's were.

I am not saying that big or small KTM are bloody gorgeous or anything, but personally, if I had a choice to have a no “orange” option to tick, I would!
When I visit my KTM dealer, I feel the need for a paint bomb to be set off inside the premises, it just to bloody orange and is an assault on one vision.
I used to like bits of orange here and there. Now my eyes hurt.... I feel like I am walking into a Dutch football fan store every time visit KTM dealers.
I have a plan to tone down my bike a bit to remove as much as possible of that ghastly orange colour.
New led headlights are growing on me but that orange band around DRL, need to be dealt with (light smoked tinted film?). I personally can’t stand a piss pot dangling of the handle bars (so 90’’s), nor do I like two different shape, size & make of brake/clutch levers. Why did they do such shit choice on some of the aesthetics I can not understand.
I really dislike how standard hand guards mount on the handlebars. I really much prefer the symmetrical look that BMW have on they adventure bikes. It is all identical from left to right, brake levers, hand guard mounts under the mirror stems, identical brake and clutch fluid reservoirs. Leaving you with nice, clean, unobstructed view ahead. Just a sheer amount of cables, piss pots, clamps that goes on KTM handlebars is really bothering me.
Other than that, the big KTM is a great bike to ride, and some of the things mentioned above can be forgiven, but some are to be dealt with imminently.

I thought about it, for a nanosecond, then realised that I actually want to own a FUN bike!

I am just pointing out my annoyances with the manufacturer, bike still a great beast to ride with plenty of smiles per miles.
