As I was riding down the Motorway at eighty on the 1150 gs adventurer I happen to look down and saw oil bubbling from the Oil filler cap, It was not a great amount but I can confirm there was a little bubblin comming from a corner.
I recently fitted a new filler cap and the plastic inner so does this mean to much top end pressure or is it possible a faulty part.

Also can anybody advise the best screen for GS Adventure already fitted with Tobinaters.

Thanks Tony

Is the new filler cap an original plastic or one of those "gosh Im paranoid" not even slightly secure - overpriced ones that requires a key.

Take the filler cap off, clean it and the hole it fits into with a cloth to remove any oil and then put it back in...... chances are it will cure your 'leak'

oil

New o rings help, one on cap one underneath the plastic bit.

Have been out to clean the filler cap and O ring and when I push the plastic
which is inserted in the head there appears to be small amount of oil oozing out underneath any ideas

Works for me! I have the lockable BMW oil filler cap and I allways clean the whole "system" before I put it back. :beerjug:
