I know some folks have taken them off
I may put one on - is it as simple as getting the three holed flange with the 2 inlet outlets and a different oil filter
Could I have opinions advice please :thumb2
Fed up and looking / thinking :D

You also need the long oil tube that passes through the middle of the filter if you fit a cooler.

I'd think about going for the one that mounts under the headstock if I was going for one from scratch. The standard one opened my leg to the bone when I came off last year :(

I just missed a NOS BMW thermostatic cooler kit on Oz Ebay - it went for $A 230- , about half the price of the Touralich non thermo kits.

I have bike a GS with a cooler and a G/S with a sump extension and there doesn't seem to be much difference between them, although I have also added the largest sump available to the GS, which made a noticeable difference.
