Has anybody had any problems with the oil cooler on there gs1200 took my bike in for its first 600 mile service and was told the oil cooler was knackered, needless to say im no very happy :thedummy , but the dealer did give me a brand new 1200R for a loan bike until mine is sorted which has been two days now and no heard nothing

Hmmm, I have noticed that mine is sporting a few dents from insects (?) and stones etc. Looks a little second hand but otherwise nothing that would suggest it would need replacing.

I'll see what they say next week when it is in for a service.

BTW how is the R1200R?

Mine's due for the first 600 service shortly. Well it's a bit overdue but will be done in the next few weeks. So it'll be interesting to see if the oil cooler gets a mention. Mind I've just proved I can still decorate the hall through a letterbox by fitting a Reyno grille. I'm now worried that any problems with the oil cooler will be hidden from view!

They never said what was wrong with it but that was there words Knackered, K1200R is a good bike, very suprised as I had a test ride on one before I bought the GS and did not like it, but this one is superb fast and good handling and comfy, only prob is with wind blast it has a samll screen and it directs it right on to your chest and helmut so anything over a ton is quite painful
