Oil Filter removal tool for the LC

Cheers Mark I did gather that in the end, it was more the comment (howfuckingmuch) after your excellent write up that tickled my laughter button.
Bit pricy but looks good quality, having said that in the end all you need is something to remove the filter even if it damages it slightly your going to through it away, then re-tighten by hand job done.

Oh yes of course and I saw that so please don`t feel that your or anyone's comments are ever anything than a `respected opinion` IMHO - life is too short and I`ve seen far too many posts on the forum which shouldn`t be written.

And yes, I totally agree with you (I agree with everyone or look to respect their opinion!) - its chuffing pricey and a rag with a spanner wrapped up in it (to give the tightness) can do the job at a fraction of the cost too.

Also, kind words but far from excellent - it was rushed but if it is just slightly informative to all of us here on the forum then job done!

My guess is, that in the US it would need to be FAO Schwarz ! I know there's one in New York, on E59th street and 5th Ave, right by the Apple store!!!

You can buy the keyboard that featured in the film Big in there, $250,000....

You'll probably find this tool, right next to it!!

:augie

You laugh, but as a child my parents would bring us into NYC for the decorations and store windows, and a visit to F.A.O. Schwarz was always part of the fun. I hadn't thought of that place in a long time. Thanks!

I suppose I shouldn't mention that the oil filter wrench from my old R1100RS fits the new WC filters? :hide

Great memory.. It's a cracking shop, I could spend some time in there but I'm a big kid!

Went to NYC late last October, sadly the same week hurricane Sandy did!!!
