Oil filter removal tool, how many flutes?

Bugger just realised, i many have sold my oil filter removal tool when i sold my original hexhead.

just looking on amazon for a replacement, but i cant remember how many flutes are on the filter so i can order the right one

any ideas ?

I found there are 2 types of oil filter - one with 'flats' like a normal multisided nut, and one with grooves. Neither removal tool undoes the other. So it depends what filter you buy.

I might be getting mixed up between Hexed and LC though (bear of small brain).
