There is one which has splines to fit both 1200 and 1150 filters, clever thing. Can't remember where I saw it... ooops!

Actually, the one shown is a copy of BMW's Oil Filter Removal Tool [1] (I have the original BMW one) which works with nearly all BMWs and have more 'teeth' than the £10 ones. I believe it will make life easier if you've got a problematic filter.
