Oil level sensor (2014GS)

My oil level sensor is giving odd readings at times, low level, though through the sight glass the level is right at the top.

So new sensor to be fitted by my dealer.

Anybody know where the sensor is located, as I can not find it. Yes I know it must be low down on the engine!

Behind and below the self start motor.
It is a float valve and to replace it the self start motor and the flappy exhaust valve control motor have to be removed.
