Sorry for the thread post about oil :-/ I just can't seem to find a thread or link answering my question.
I've just recently topped up my oil on my 2011 GSA.
I have the oil level when checked with the bike cold (and with the side stand to centre stand hokey-Kokey shuffle). It is @ 5mm under the the top of the red line perimeter on the sight glass.
When it's at running temp the oil level is dead on the underneath of the red line circle
Is that too high?
I've checked the owners handbook and it says that it should be checked when warm and the diagram/picture shows the oil at about 3mm+ off the red line.
So, is it a big deal? Should I drain a bit out or will it burn a bit off ? Or is it actually fine?
