Was at dealership today to get some work done on my 12GS and the mechanic told me that BMW have now switched to a fully synthetic oil 100% for everything including pre-run in bikes. This is a 180 deg turnaround from just a while back
He say's its not your 'standard' out of halfords fully synth, but some newly developed 10-50 stuff - I'm thinking they see a nice little earner here selling us this 'special liquid' at a hefty price
