Okay I am sure I am not alone - but wrong most of the time....
Just got back from the BMW training - superb! Obviously stretched the wallet a good deal.
Want to keep practising but cant afford a second bike, or more trips to BMW, just yet. Am running stock standard BattleWings on my stock F650GS Twin which still have way too much tread leaft to shell out for Anakee2 or even more offroadie type rubber. Isnt fitted with sump or hand guards. Its my only bike and pretty much only mode of transport to commute and run around on - and not being able to blast around South Wales when I fancy would be painful.
So my guess is that anything more than a bit of hard pack (perhaps slightly gravelly) fire road is asking for time back on me bicycle whilst I await costly repairs.
So afterall all that babbling
, my question is, is there anywhere close-ish to Bristol where I might find long flowing hard packed fireroads?

Apparently they were knackered and did not have the energy to assist! Or so they said after a cider or two around the fire in the evening.
