old autoswitch on new bike (canbus)?

is it ok to use the pre-canbus autoswitch on a canbus bike? trying to hook up aux lights. should i use a centech panel for it? any advice help would be great...

If it's the one that takes the double tap (or one second hold) signal from the indicator cancel switch it won't work as it doesn't read the signal from the new Canbus cancel button.

I was gonna put one om my bike but they didn't have the canbus version when I was installing the lights... Now they have but I'm happy with them permanetly on.

There is a new Canbus Specific Autoswitch so I guess teh answer is no you can't
