Old Bourne - Opps!

Did a few lanes with Pole and his mates and took the 1150 for a change, and because I was late and it was the easiest bike to get on and go.

I'd forgotten how good they are off-road, so planted and easy to get the power down - She still looks good wearing the TT seat

Suggested to Pole that he should be able to do a section of the Old Bourne on his KTM640 ADV

The golden rule with the Old Bourne is check if it's clear before entry - Sorry I forgot

Tree's down and beaver dams meant a U turn and a man handle back out

That water looked very cold.Bet he was gutted when he saw it was blocked and new its was going to be wet boots for the rest of the ride.

The slicks out to play yesterday where worn on a couple of Super Moto, my rear TKC would also qualify.

I spent a lot of time using 3rd as lower gears would lock the back wheel when I shut off

Tom - it must have been me on A1 then.
I keep the baffle out when I'm riding on the road, just to let the people know I'm out there.
2 x knock offs is certainly enough for me!

Mariusz ( the supermoto guy ) hasn't been as fast as usual, on the dry stuff, but he managed to stay upright during the whole day.

Foxes Lane at night! - How many more lanes did you guys do after I left you?

Just three lanes before we called it a day ( or should it be night? ).
The last one was the one which starts by the North Mymms Men's Club / Tollgate Road and takes you to, along A1(M), Murco petrol station in South Mymms I think.

All the lanes are perfectly rideable by night but I wouldn't be able to keep my "daylight" pace after dark .

Do you guys fancy a night rideout?
