after a lot of fiddling about, i managed to get my 2610 on my le mans.
because of the rudimentary suspension of this bike, i wanted to use a TT MvG mount for vibe reduction. sadly it was too big and i had to use a RAM cradle.

can still see the speedo & most of the rev counter. even without the GPS both instruments are half hidden by the flyscreen.

change gear at first sign of valve float :)

Can you see it past your tankbag when that's fitted....? Fortunately for me, a RAM mount fits perfectly on the front tank bolts on a VFR.

that's a bit of luck with your mount, very neat. i tried to do something similar but the ignition switch is in the way.

TT VP45 tankbag seems to fit ok* too & i can still see the instruments.

*i can't use the side bags though 'cos they'll toast on the cylinder heads :D

Do you actually ride the guzzi far enough to get lost..... ? :)

very good point, but i'm going to france on it* in May and you know what it's like there, strange place names, some of the locals don't even speak english, that foriegn food tastes funny etc.

need all the help i can get :D

*if it's not raining, if my back's up to it, if i just can't be arsed & don't take the PD instead.

ps. it shows garages doesn't it?

Do I detect two Ram arms connected at right angles there Mr C? I hadn't considered that when looking for a useful mounting option on the PD.

How well does such a lengthy armature cope with vibes - just firing up the lemon should tell ya :D

it is indeed 2 RAM arms connected by one of these:

suggested a while back by RAM-MAN ;)

it certainly makes uinit positioning easier, but will wobble at full extension.

i'm actually hoping it will soak up some vibes, but it's not been tested in anger yet as the lemon won't get taxed 'til next month.

hopefully doing some experiments on the oily this w/e. might try it on that bike for fun.

The head unit for the Snooper is mounted to the inside of the double bubble screen with heavy duty Velcro.

The GPS antenna is mounted on the horizontal surface on the off-side of the fairing. You can just see it in the previous photograph, above the brake fluid reservoir.

Here's a different view of the installation. As you'll see I also use two RAM arms joined by a double ball. Anorak or what.....
