For Sale Ollech and Wajs M4 Diver

A rather reluctant sale of my Ollech and Wajs dive watch. Other watches in my collection have taken precedence, most notably my smart watch.

I’ve owned this for quite a while, it’s manufactured by a company that was the first to produce the first 1000 metre dive watch in the 1960’s, the Caribbean 1000.

The M4 for sale here has the following spec, is beautifully made and feels great on the wrist. Keeps time. Has 40 hours of reserve.

Case: Stainless steel
Case Size: 39.5mm w/o crown, 43m with crowd
Thickness; 12MM
Functions: hour, minute, second, quickset date
Power Reserve: 40 hours
Water Resistance: 200m
Crown: Screw down

It’s a reluctant sale, but I really do need to reduce the collection.

The crown needs pushing in to fully screw down, may need to be seen to by a specialist but I’ve not had any issues with it but have kept away from water.

Don’t come up for sale in the UK very often.

Nice watch that. Interesting review / article that you posted, I’d not heard of this watch maker before and I think it’s good to own something a bit different. Seems decent value to me. I’m no photographer but some sharper pictures with better lighting might help?

I consider myself a bit of a watch nerd, but had never heard this brand until a few years w. The original Caribbean 1000 is so highly sought after I haven’t seen one come up for sale in years. 3,300 feet in mid 60’s was quite a feat.
Will take better pics, I’m in no rush as you say it’s quite a rare piece. I’m often asked by people if it’s a Rolex copy lol. I have to correct them

I think that should sell, you’re not really asking for much and the history of the company is great. Plus it’s a good looker. Lots of people like to have something of decent quality but not the usual brands. This is exactly that.
