Say, Rushy, is your Icon vest the one of mesh panels or solid panels? I'm thinking about one of them but can't really decide between the two styles. I might have to look at the Olympia kit as an alternative.
I wasnt aware there were 2 types. Its mesh on the inside but the main panels are solid. It doesnt flap at speed at all though.
There are the two obvious external pockets and also one narrow but tall pocket for pens (or a packet of fruit pastilles) on the inside close to the main zip.
How did you find the sizing when it actually arrived compared to the size chart on the website - it would be a pain if you ordered based on thier wieght/hieght and it arrived 2 sizes too small or large etc...
Pretty good to be honest, I'm just on the limits of their medium sizing for height and weight but had previously found that my Stitch which was fine length wise for my height off the bike was too short when in a riding position so went for the safe bet and ordered a large in the Phantom.
Looking at the sizing charts I'd say they would be pretty accurate for the majority of people.
Dearest Mom coming over from Canada and have managed to get a Phantom in Yellow to give a try. With the exchange (and the fact that it is going in her suitcase) comes to about £300. Called the factory with fitting advice and very helpful. Looked at the Stich but the logistics of getting it here etc. were daunting and cost. Will report back once the yellow banana has arrived.
I think the zips are covered with a flap and velcro. If you go to their website pretty good video. I get it in a couple of weeks and will report back. Although it looks a little more difficult to take off (60 sec for 10 sec for the Stich) the big feature for me was that you get the suit hemmed here in London as the zipper does not go all the way to the suit cuff.
