Just collected my brand new 2010 1200GS and WOW - it's totally amazing. Gave it a bit of town work to get out of the city, dual carriageway and finally some B-roads to finish off my first 60-miles. It could so easily have been a 600-miler but I'm cooking dinner for the out-laws tonight.

Hope I don't get any of the issues some fellow riders have suffered.

Looking forward to many happy miles on my new GS :)

Well done Steve!:thumb

Six weeks since I got my 30th Anniversary 1200, and still puts a huge grin on my face, both when I ride it, and even when I just look at it:aidan

Enjoy many happy miles:JB

Welcome aboard!

After too long off the bike and a small repair, I took my 1200 out for a wee spin today.

Steve,
Don't worry about all the bollox about FD explosions and all that twaddle.
Just ride and enjoy it to it's full.

Anyway, you have 2 year warranty :augie

Cheers guys. I used to own an R1100s which never missed a beat and was faultless, so I have every confidence in my new 1200GS :)

I've already been invited on a trip to France next March, and am looking forward to many more trips and rideouts.

Got my 2010 1200gs a fortnight ago, rode to Barmouth on Friday & did BSB at oulton park Sunday, loads of :D:D
Enjoy your bike.:beerjug:
