Can you substantiate that claim?
The cellar flooded as the (very deep) well that was to the left of what became the front door, was somehow filled in. The water had to go somewhere, I guess.
The hill, was at the upper end of Church Street; it being so named as it has a church in it. My sister was married there. The church is unusual in that its tower / spire is supported on columns, allowing the bells to be from the outside.
There is a second hill, too. Come out of the gate, turn left, down to the bottom, up the hill on the other side. This will bring you to what is known as 'Top Town'. My aunt lives there.
