does anyone know if you can buy an Ipod charger with a DIN fitting? i have an adaptor to cigarette lighter but wanted to use one less fitting.

If you look in vendors there is a waterproof USB which works very well

I have a mini-USB charger from this seller

I use a mini-USB charger from these fine people on fleabay:

CAF 1960

I use it to power a DAB radio unit and their kit is all sealed up nicely. Only snag seems to be the actual DAB unit which I may have left on in the rain for a bit too long! Mini-USB cable was fine! They are more than happy to tailor the length of cable you require between the HELLA plug, power converter and USB/IPOD plug. For £14 its worth a go.

hi-jack but on the same topic...

I bought a cigarette lighter fitting tio DIN and tried my mobile charging off it but nothing happened. I used the DIN under seat socket- is there anything else I need to know? Keep the engine running whilst charging? or is it just plug in and go?
