I want one of these, its a bullet cam suck on holder:

But i dont want to pay £25 for it, i have found a supplier for the p clips:

but im struggling for the suckers with threads on them, im off to the aquarium shop tommorrow to try to get replacement suckers for an aquarium filter, see what that brings, but if anyone knows where to get the suckers from, i would be greatly appreciative.
i have made a 2 way switch box for front and rear cams and that works really well, all parts from maplins!
anyhow if you can tell me where to get the suckers from......
regards Paul
( i'm waiting for all the sarcastic comments, you can almost here them coming!!!):augie

There's a really cheap mini camera mount thingy... clear plastic, with cheapo ball mount in it... I believe it comes with a suction cup with screw threads.... Look at your nearest camera shop...

Hi Al,
thanks for the reply, i dont think this is what i need, it will have to be small, because of the extreme windspeed, mines a black gs you know, the faster one.
the unit in the piccy is tested up to 180 mph, i really need to replicate this, dont want the camera flying off at a ton twenty. thanks anyhow Paul

I didn't mean for you to use the ball mount.... I was simply suggesting a source for a suction cup with screw thread in the top...

Though... TBH if having it fly off would be a tragedy... I'd not use suction cups to mount it...

Got these myself, not actually using them, so if you want to pm me with an offer?

My mate this year for our Italy trip did this and the results were fantastic.

I bought some of these £5 mount directly to camera sticks to any smooth surface and other surfaces all you need is cover the suction foot with electrical tape to protect it then make a velcro pad male and female and stick it on.

Very good was test on model helicopter, model car, bike up to 110mph (of course on private land you understand):augie on my paraglider it's well good got'em from little camera store round the corner

other ways to attach is to fill plastic bag with lentils which you mould around camera to five a better and more manageable shape then the engieers fav Gaffa tape the sucker on.:thumb

This has worked perfectly for every one of my TT video's... the plastic bag was filled with paperback books, though. You can see the image quality from the framegrab I use as my avatar :thumb2
