Eyup folks,
Well after years on large custom bikes ( Wildstars, Dragstars, XV1900 etc) I've decided to take the plunge. I'm presently in the process of negotiating a deal on a 2005 1200gs for my XVZ1300......I'm finding the XVZ a bit uncomfortable on euro travels and being 6'3" the GS seems to offer a bit more in the way of leg room
Here's hoping I've made the right choice...lol.

2005 model, 23,000 miles, 1 owner from new, BMW FSH and a 1 year warranty....well chuffed

Nice one Rich.
I did virtually the same as you (switching from a cruiser) and don't regret it one bit.
The GS must be one of the most comfortable bikes available (once you fix the seat and screen, of course)
