Just got back to rainy Manchester, after having a top weekend in Scotland. Thanks for the tips earlier in the month about routes n camping out. Introduced my eldest son to the wow factor of Scotland. Hello to whoever it was, 3 of yer!, who we passed on the way into Fort william about 11.00 on saturday morning, you were coming out heading south. Nice salute whoever the lead rider was (!)
Had to re assess the route as i got a bit over zealous, but basically kiped over in the glen of Orchy, breakfast in fort bill, Commando monument ( always makes me feel proud and sad ) A86, A9 and off to Aberfeldy, left hand sise of Loch Tay, camp over, A85,A84 and jump off onto A821 through the Trossachs. That road is stunning to ride Aberfoyle and down to Glasgow and south to home. Now i know im a heathan and have missed out loads, but equally so it was a brilliant weekend.
Hats off to you guys, its a stunning place to live, and hi to all the countless Gsers we passed who always gave us a wave.
If anyone passed us , red 1200gs two up, a black 1200 adventure and a black 1150gs, hello to ya.
