..the wife's been badgerin me about gettin her own gps for the car, as she always borrows my bike one...

So what is a good, reliable and cheapish one to get? MUST be EASY to use...

...i kid you not .... this is the woman who tried to put some oil in down the dip stick hole:rolleyes:

Need whole of UK as a minimum with auto-routing of course .... and full post code search..

....very Ta .in advance:D

Regards Charlie

tomtom one
however, they are only as good as the people who use em,
ugg, for example, appears not to believe anything it says, and ends up anywhere but the right place, blaming the crap satnav:blast
"turn left in 200 yards down to a64", appears to mean turn left now or in 4 miles time, down the m1, or a cart track,
iv found people who cant use em by the end of the first day, can never use em,we ended up pointing to manchester the other day, instead of leeds

OK if you insist

Garmin Nuvi 300T, less than £100 from Tesco's

:agree

Don't overlook the confidence that another Garmin will give her if she's used to using yours (which doesn't have full post code search btw).

POI alert should come in handy, escpecially the speed camera database :augie

Sell the Garmin V to pay for it :D

If £100 is too rich for your blood then Amazon will do the 200 widescreen unit for about £70

Not much call for traffic alerts down there but for when she ventures to the shops in Southampton this might come in handy though I doubt you'll agree she's worth £125 :D

Another :thumb2 for a garmin nuvi.
I've got a 250 and my wife can use it ;)

Charlie.....you think your good lady is bad?.....Paul bought me a Garmin for the car after I 'lost' the M4.....:eek
And from a female perspective, the Garmin's easy to use......:thumb2

...thanks for the comments.. looks like Garmin may be favourite..

...but whats the difference between them? and does it make any difference?

Nuvi200/250/300 or what?

..very ta:D
