I'm off to visit a friend tomorrow afternoon, InshAllah, so have decided to have a night's camping and tick off a grave and memorial that I've wanted to see for some years while I'm in the area.

Theoretically Norfolk but I'm pretty sure I've left my tent pegs at home so it could be a case of there and back to see how far it is.
Should be able to make do with sticks, rocks, bike etc. Plenty to tie the guy lines to if it's windy and then a couple to keep it in place.

As I was admiring the village the lady of the house I was parked outside came out to talk to me about my bike. Apparently her house used to belong to Nelson's doctor.
And yes she genuinely asked 'How fast will it go mister?'.

I vaguely recall that the very large tent the OP very kindly gifted to me, didn’t have any tent pegs either. What does he do with them; nail Austrians to barn doors?
