To me..................it looks like the perfect trail bike - a Honda 2 stroke CRM 250 engine, in a Honda 2 stroke CR250 Alloy framed MX Chassis

TBM did one about 10 years ago and rated it as the best trail bike that was never made !!!.

Honda really slipped up by not officially importing the CRM and then not putting it in an alloy frame in its later life.



I've had a good few runs on my mates CRM mk 2/2 and it runs rings around xr250/400/600 's both on and off road.

I grew up less than a mile from Swarkestone Pavilion. Its funny how Landmark Trust says its near Ticknall, but that's actually about 5 miles away (Derby City is closer) and the trust's property at Knowle Hill, Ingleby is also closer.

In the 1970's, my dad wanted to but Knowle Hill Cottage but its was in such a bad state way beyond his means. The Trust have done a good job.

It's spurring me on to do something myself,although it's would be nowhere near this level,maybe just a mild renovation of a tired XR or something similar.
