I am about to book a boat (ferry) to go to Birkenhead WITH an empty car trailer to pick up a car. It's (as usual) a complete rip off - circa £700 return for car and trailer. I hate to do the outward crossing with an empty trailer - IF someone wanted a car moving from Belfast to Birkenhead in the next few days (or somewhere on the route from Birkenhead to "Kidlington") for a nominal fee to help pay my way (say £100) - then you need to pm me for a chat pronto. LIKELY to be sailing Saturday night .... but not actually booked yet (will be in 3 hrs time !). Slim chance .... but one never knows ! Note : I will have virtually ZERO time to spare , so if it's not a simple "throw it off job , on the route" then it won't work ! cheers

Ferry now booked - going Sat , night crossing. I looked at what I was offering .... and to be honest , to someone just bringing a car over , it's not a great saving (About £30) , so even if it did suit .... not a great deal !!. If anyone wants to avail - still "shout" , and we'll sort something out. I'll close the thread , but suspect I was barking up the wrong tree .... sure it's the thought that counts !!
