I need space to sit further back on the seat due to long upper legs and arms. Does any body have experience of the Touratech or Wunderlich one piece seats?

Do they fit the standard adjustable mounting points? Touratech show a 3cm higher one piece seat as an option. Is this on top of the higher standard mount or is it anyway a low mounted seat?

I was thinking of getting a Touratech or Wunderlich seat and then letting Mr Hunter make it more comfortable.

Any experience would be welcome. :thumb

Touratech one piece is comfortable and better made than the standard seat. It fits the front mounts, but requires a catch to be added at the back (supplied, easy to fit, although I needed to adapt it somewhat as the Touratech measurements ain't the same as BMW - not the first time I've found that).

Seat height is about the same as the standard, but the pillion is lower.

Definitely an improvement one-up, reckon it also looks better! Also much better made than the Wunderlich.

Yes i agree with NeilG the Touratech is well made and very comfortable. It also suits the design of the bike and looks like an OE piece, better than the original two piece contraption by a mile.

Touratech one-piece

Many thanks Neil & Fitzy :thumb

So what happens if one uses the higher mounting position on the OE seat? Does the Touratech feature an adjustable mount or should I go for the high (+3cm) version? :nenau

I'm 6'2 and the taller seat is perfect.

Is the Touratech adjustable?

Thanks - looks great - but is it adjustable like the OE seat?

Touratech not adjustable; I'm 6'2" with extra long arms and it's fine. I did fit Fastway pegs which are set in the low position and overall the setup is OK for me.
