Don't want this post turned into an oil debate please.

I am looking at buying some engine oil from www.FluidsInMotorsport.co.uk as they stock lots of 20w/50 oils and have some special offers at present. I want to put an order in quickly (preferably by this Sunday or can hold out until Wed if people ask) as they have some special offers which are stock limited.

If anybody wants to commit to purchasing some and share the postage between us then let me know ASAP. I live in Sidcup DA15 and you must collect from me - no posting out at all. Until I know what we are ordering then I do not know the P+P but as a minimum it is £8:16 for up to 20 litres and potentially free after that if I speak nicely to the man! I will sort out payment once I have list of what is required.

There is a list of oils on the website but I got an email from them on Wednesday with the following to do with 20w/50 :

Hi
All our mineral oils cover spec SF. Prices start at £9.90 for our special offer deal on the Silkolube 20/50. We do Valvoline VR1 racing (23.99), Lucas(20), Motul Classic ,again on offer at 19.95 per 6 litrs. Duckhams Q (16.50), Torco 20/50 (27.50). Millers do a semi synth (31). Prices in brackets for 5 litrs except Motul. All prices plus VAT.

These prices do not look too special to me or am I missing something?.

Most people say that they are finding it very hard to get hold of 20/50 oil so here is a stockist.
They are also selling 5 litres of Silkolene (spec SF) for about £11:60 + P&P which is a good price for a basic spec'd oil.
Working on this oil, if you add the almost £9 for P&P then yes it is expensive. But if people wanted to club together then I am hoping to get cheap P&P if not free.
No you don't have to buy the same oil as me - just tell me what you want from them.
Note - that all of the oils that I have mentioned are not SF spec but at lease SF spec. Please do your own research on the oils.

I shall be buying from them and yes hoping to reduce my postage costs as well :augie but I am willing to take the hassle and financial commitment up front for those that wish to join me.

If you are aware of other places that offer a good price for oil then let us know via a different posting.

What other sites, shops etc are there out there? I was looking at doing a group bulk buy for anybody who was willing to collect from me. Just trying to do my bit for some fellow Tossers.
Any suggestions?
