Doing bit study and funny how for my emergency first responder course, EFR, the board in ireland dealing with it is called,

Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council, or PHEEC prenounched feck.

their website is pheccit.ie

Or PHEC IT for short.

Who the hell comes up with these name, they must have been watching father ted:aidan

Not only, but also

In England, many years ago, either the Heath or Thatcher government introduced the "Industrial Relations Act", but never shortened it to it's initials.

Before that, in Belfast, the new (never built) motorway through the city was announced as the "Belfast Urban Motorway".
For some reason they failed to use the acronym.
