I have a Nav5 on a R1200GS LC with TFT screen and Autocom wired helmet headset. I'm using the BTM02 bluetooth module to pair with the Nav 5. I'm only getting mono sound output with music stored on the Nav. I've checked that I’m getting stereo into the helmet with another R1200GS also using a Nav5, autocom SPA and BTM-02, although without a TFT screen. My other half has checked that the blue 4-pole cable is plugged into the BTM-02 and black end is to AUX2 on the SPA same as the other bike which is giving stereo output. Other than the end into the SPA being a 3-pole rather than 4-pole, which unfortunately is a PITA to access to check, any thoughts on what might be wrong?

I'd appreciate any pointers please...

Thanks.

[Note: T’other half added an audio cable to the SPA music socket to offer a direct link to a separate mp3 player as a backup plan, but playing through the Nav would be more convenient ahead of a UK tour coming up]

I’m not at home to check, but there are other ports in the SPA board that give stereo output (if I remember correctly). Looks like you will have to bite the bullet and fish it out from where you’ve tucked it away. I can certainly sympathise with all that. Best of luck!

Damn, t'other half has stripped back end again to access autocom to find that it's indeed it's a 3-pole into the autocom aux2. Tried into the aux3 phone socket out of hope but also only mono output. Checked the spare autocom cable to find that it's also a BT-201 and we seem to have a BT-203, both of which seem to be for the older autocoms and no use.

Given that we're heading off on Sat, it'll have to be a separate mp3 player. Been on autocom's website trying to find a local stockist but ones it lists don't mention autocom.

Unless anyone knows somewhere close to Sheffield that might stock a BT-202 cable for pick up before reassembling the bike tomorrow...?

Thanks vincentrapide for support :thumb
