Oil Consumption

I've done a few 4.5k mile rides and never needed any oil - Can't believe the extra 500 miles would make much difference.

Mine burns around 1/4 litre every 1000 miles,its still running in i guess.
My last 1150Adv did burn oil till i rode it at about 100mph for about 200 miles, then it stopped burning the stuff.
A 1/4 of a litre over a thousand miles isnt too bad i guess.
My 08 transit burned oil till it hit 40k.
