As said, very sexy looking but.......

According to Woody, there's a saving of about 3lbs over the OEM wheel. You have to have saved a lot of weight elsewhere first to justify the swap on the basis of weight saving (even if it is unsprung weight).

I'd think it probably has more to do with bling than weight saving. Not my cuppa but still very nice from a GSee engineering point of view :)

OK OK, they look great...........BUT, do they look great enough to warrant an obviously high amount of cash to fit to a GS??

Sure, maybe if I was building a HPN special - but I reckon that the wheels on the GSA look pretty fine already - nice black rims (that BMW invented to allow tube tyres) and a fine looking hub. Am I really going to notice a couple of pounds off the unsprung weight? Besdides you can't really see the front hub because we have a disc each side and the rear hub is mostly covered with the panniers that I seem to never remove!

I realise that I am talking to myself as I am certain that a large number of us have already mentally spent the money since seeing the pictures!

My wife calls it man jewellery:D

Woodies Hubs

I have a set of woodies wheels on my beemer, and from all the work in getting them up and running , I would say the new hubs are made to sort out the problem with aligning BMW hubs with straight pull spoked rims like Excel
as you know the BMW Rims are designed for tubeless tyres inc the HP2 an spokes run to the outside of the rims, and when you try and align bmw hubs with excel rims the spokes have to be slightly "Cocked" or Bent to align with the center line as against the outside align with the BMW rims

is there any price for the hubs yet
