I gave the beastie it's first ever coat of ACF-50 last November and after commuting 70miles a day all winter, through a combination of storms, ice & snow on salt covered roads, it's absoluting minging.

I've had many a doubt about the effectiveness of the ACF but resisted the temptation to clean it off until today. With a spare 30 mins this afternoon I armed myself with a can of Gunk, a paintbrush & scrubbing brush and attacked the wheels and exhaust.

Well, bugger me! There's loads of shiny metal under all that black shite!

Weather permitting, I'll get the whole bike done next weekend and reward myself by taking it out and getting it all dirty again :thumb

Well done ACF-50 :clap

and me

great stuff
it took my bike from looking as though it had been salvaged from a ditch to looking almost new

it's an 02 adv with 30k on it

top product

leaving mine on for atleast another month, road salt is still engrained in the road, plus we could still have a cold spell.

Just how hard is it to get the clag (ACF-50) off at the end of winter?

Do you have to spend a couple of days at it?

Al :D

I used another mild degreaser last year but needs to be stronger than Muc-off as that won't remove it, but is good to see the results after seeing it cased in salt, like mine is right now :thumb
