Thank you all for cheering me up (gulp)...

Got bike back, unbelievably little wrong. It was hauled off on a recovery truck on its side, but it seems to have had little effect.

RHS cyl head guard.
RHS driving lamp housing
Engine sump guard pushed around getting it on and off trailer, just need s straightening. (where's my ramp !!!)
Back brake pedal - bent, need to straighten and check for cracks..

Bike was stored in a shed, nothing touched. GPS, keys etc. all 100%

Result!

Broke mine (Rt Clavicle) at the end of November, 10mph drop on my T-Max, the bones were originally crossed but by the time I got to fracture clinic they'd relaxed into roughly the right place, so no operation. I'll find out in January if that was the right decision.

That is encouraging, thanks. I think I am getting there.

Your 'sunset over Scunthorpe' is a bit more colourful than mine was, but a month in and I've got almost full use, albeit with a few twinges just to remind me, especially above the shoulder line. Heal well ;)

Get wellish soon - if you were totally well you'd not be on a bike :aidan

Good to see you're on the mend after your off, but your tits need waxing :jes
