Hi Folks

Well after 8 months off two wheels due to a car v motorbike (car won),
today I picked up my(!) F800GS (2nd hand from local friendly dealer - ta guys),
it should be said it is the most expensive bike I've ever bought and it
appears to have a cylinder more than normal... came from XT's and F650 (classic),
and you know I'm kind of lovin' it

Now I guess all I have to do is ride and stay away from the accessory
catalogue/ farkle websites ..

Well I guess that's it just wanted to say hi!

HI Guys

Thanks for the welcome. Well had two days of good riding and
I'm liking this bike more and more. Also been looking through this
site and some good info, I get a feeling my resistance to farkle
may be futile... doh.

enjoy! i've had it for 2 years this week, and after the initial foibles to be expected from a new model, it's very sorted and a whole lot of fun. there's no other bike on the market i'd change it for, so i think you've some good craic awaiting you...

Have you tried a KTM 990 Supermoto T. An interesting alternative if your not into off-road and want a bit more oomph.
