Open invite run

Hi all

I was talking with a fellow Gser about bike runs in general, and we came up with this idea.

The plan is to do a LONG RUN, on or around the longest day of the year (21st June) which is a Tuesday, but it could be a suitable date close to that, maybe Sunday 19th

Looking to push 300+ miles over the day riding through 8 or 9 counties.

Could plan to incorporate several meeting places for other GSers to join up and peel off the group when it suits.

This will start and finish in Banbridge with a route and approximate timings for meeting places dependent on interest to follow

I know Tuesday 21 June will not work for everybody, but as I said its just an idea at this stage

My old lady has just informed me I will not be allowed out on the 19th so count me out if going that day. If later I'm still in.

to elaborate; my wife reminded me we will be in majorca until the 20th. So not allowed out to play until I get back. Hopefully with kahoonas still intact, aslong as I don't forget our annivesrary.

Longest Day

Hi all.

Looks like the date is now fixed as the 21st June as I have managed to blagg the day off work . At the planning stage now so full route to be posted soon......Details to follow

Thats suits me.
Just an idea. There is a quarry on edge of belfast which I go to if we're by that way. Good fun for a for a bit of a slip and slide. Nothing too serious.
