Love Scotland been lucky to get the good weather a few times up there, also had a couple of brilliant holidays there when it was none stop rain and snow.

What about the accent? I for one love the accent coming from a sexy Scot lassy i.e. (Amy Macdonald), cant just decide which I prefer between a female Scottish accent or Irish either make me wish I was single again ho and 20 :)

Any of you dudes know where this is then?

Feck! Aye! I was up there today on the GS800!..or rather I wasn't as they'd locked the gates at Loch More....Bustards.......

The house is LochDhu on the side of Loch Dhubh. it's on the track to Altnabreach station on the Wick/Thurso train line.

Took a while - but well done that man - my mate lives down the road they had to start locking the gates to stop all the feckers on bikes going down ripping the roads up LOL. As you can see, I had a key :-) been going there now for passed 20+ years, I remember LochDho being for sale back in the 80'S for something like 30K. Some dude that’s into online gambling is said to own it now me thinks?

Nice bike:thumb2

Thanks Oonyack. Really regret selling it, I had some real fun on the KTM and a massive smile when riding it especially off road. Sorry to say the GS hasn’t just done the same for me as yet I just seem to have spent a fortune on glossy bits for it rather than getting out there riding the bugger.

I had the Akrapovic pipes and it sounded and handled brilliantly, was just ace round those dirt roads and forest tracks.

The gate mentioned by Klanky is just down the track here :) No worries about the plate showing on here, the guy I sold to wrote it off within 2 weeks :blast

Yup, think you're right about ownership.

Pity about the gates, I've walked up to Dalnawillan lodge and Altnabreach loads of times and always fancied doing it on a bike.
I blame all the English feckers for ripping the roads up....uh, hang on...I'm English.

Never mind, I've got a few more tracks to explore.:bounce1

Getting vaguely back on topic:

Scotland! Nice place! And most of the residents won't burn your house/tent down and drive off your cattle/motorbike! And this part of the forum is a lovely huggy, touchy-feely sort of place.:Duchess
