Hi Folks

I`m getting a nice new pair of Michelin Pilot Road tyres for my 12GS & was wondering what people thought of them as there`s no opinions in the FAQ for them.
Whats the handling, mileage & general grippiness on these, something to look forward to or not?

Cheers

Hi lee i've had a pair on for just over 1.000 miles and feel very comfortable with them wear is also good,i would expect approx 6-7k front & rear and finally very good in the wet weather hope this helps :clap

Other than this very nondescript tyres then? ;)

Mine are waiting in the hall to be fitted in the morning :D

I threw them on my 1150GS.

And I have to say that the back end of the bike feels decidedly twitchy on roundabouts.

Sufficiently twitchy that I go round them slower than I used to on the Dunlop 607s, and no longer get my toe to scrape the road surfce - I guess this means my boots might last longer though.

I wish I'd gone for 020s.

Ah now that`s the problem, if you`d got them fitted properly instead of throwing them on they might have been better! :D
