Tyre opinions on 1150 ?

Happy with tourance for the last 11 years but normally change to these just for the winter, they're a bit strange when you first try them but after a few miles they're sound

I'm guessing you don't ride solely on the road? They look like squeaky bum tyres to me.

I stand to be corrected but I'm having a hard time getting my head around how a blocky off road tyre can perform anywhere close to a road tyre (again, on road only). Appreciate it won't be as good as a dedicated road tyre but you guys make it sound like the TKC aren't far off - which is just a head fuck for me at this time of the morning.
