Mines fully waterproof (tested), fits my large AGV in no probs and they look well smart.
Get the backrest too for pillion riders.
Same ignition key, detached in 2 secs = 10/10.
(Givi ones look totally shit on this BMW.:aidan)

Until last week I had the Vario Panniers and a Givi top box, I really didn't like the look of the Givi IMHO it made the bike look odd. Just got a second hand top box and rack off a member on this site and I'm well happy :beerjug: The bike looks good and the top box is nice and compact when you need it and big enough for what I want when it's expanded. Hope this helps.

Vario Top Box

Use mine daily for the comute to work,

Rarely have it expanded as the size is adequate for all the bits and bobs i need to carry around.

IMHO the best aspect of the top box is you can remove it in a couple of seconds - This is handy for transporting kit from bike to office:thumb

When doing this you look like a securicor man - a great amusement to my colleagues:D

I have a full set of Varios, the panniers are on all the time in the closed position, the top box only when needed. I did try with just the top box originally, as I didn't anticipate needing panniers. I only expand them for leaving helmets in when parked, as I can get everything I need in when closed. They are expensive, but they are more convenient IMHO.
