Optimate charger

Can anyone advise if its ok to connect my permanent Optimate charging plug to the auxiliary terminal next to the battery.
Just thought it would be easier than disconnecting the battery and having to re set and re pair everything.

I take it the 1250 GS is a lead acid battery and not lithium, so my Optimate 3+ will be ok

Looking at my manual it says it is a Lithium battery so whats the best Optimate type charger for the job please ?

Get a Noco Genius - they will do Lithium and older types such as wet batteries and AGM.

The simple answer is "YES" ... do it all the time and no poorly effects ... why wouldn,t you ?

According to my handbook the battery is AGM not Lithium, that comes if its an HP battery.

Apparently they are a AGM battery Absorbent Glass Mat which is a newer type of sealed gel battery not lithium as the manual states so my optimate 3 is compatible

AGM has been around for years now so not so new. I use a CTek charger but if i had to replace it, i'd go with a Noco Genius, seems like very good value.
