Same here. I'm using an old Optimate 4. Seems to be fine, although I also have the Nav thing going on. I don't have a lithium battery.

Looks like the new BMW charger is a collaboration with CTEK, always thought they were good chargers.
It's nothing new i got one of these chargers a few years ago from BMW for my Z4
True but that wouldn’t have been a lithium would it?
I think there is a setting on it for a lithium .
dealer told me only the early 1300GS got lithium - whilst its an option when ordering they come with a normal battery these days
his view was as soon as it gets cold lithium batteries give up - OK on an M1000RR but no point on a GS

is ONLY lithium not either or !the Lithium ones they do - but the CT5 is for moped batteries - what use is that
