Has anyone used anOptimiser battery charger? I believe with some of them you can leave the wiring attached to the bike? Is this the case,because ideally thats what Id rather do,than to be taking the tank off.

Thats what I do - the Optimate cable is attached to the battery - makes thigns easier.

Optimate

Had my 1150 on one for a while owing to the weather, just started it to see all was well recommend them. Just plug it in to the aux socket and away you go.
